“Bay Area Rehab & Medical provides high-quality comprehensive medical care, rehabilitative, and therapeutic treatment options for injured federal employees. During the initial exam, our medical provider will evaulate the injured employee based on the approval from the employer and OWCP.
At which time, we will conduct a full detailed examiniation containing medical evidence, history of injury,review of current radiology and laboratory results, description of findings, diagnosis inidicators related to the injury, and recommendations for medical, rehabilitative, and therapeutic treatment plans. We will also provide a well-reasoned medical opinion as it relates to the crucial issues, the casual relationship between the claimed and/or disability to the injury by proximate aggrevation or acceleration and precipitation as well as medical reasoning for an injured employee’s restrictions necessary with supporting documentation. Once your work related injury claim is submitted to OWCP by you or your employer we can begin your medical treatment and work together towards your physical recovery. Often times federal employees will see quick recoveries from their injuries, which would allow them to return to work with a healthy body. There are other federal employees who sustain an injury which could prevent them from ever returning to their old job. As an example, there are injured USPS postal workers who continue physical therapy with Bay Area for as long as needed for full recovery.
